Hi, I’m Catherine.
I am a certified life coach specializing in self-trust, a certified athletic trainer, doggie mama, published author, divorcée, sunshine seeker, therapy loyalist, exerciser, dinner party enthusiast, and enneagram type 1.

My Story
I am a certified athletic trainer who was swallowed up by division I college athletics for half a decade. In 2019, I found stability and predictability as I transitioned into the physician practice setting working alongside orthopedic surgeons. While this change provided the grounding I wanted at that time, I realized it wasn't fully fulfilling my passion. I needed more of what brings me to life. So I expanded my clinical skills to life coaching.
In my journey from college athletics to coaching, I’ve come to appreciate how similar competitive athletics and life are. Both need strength, resilience, grit, and persistence. Both involve injury, healing, defeat, victories, unpredictability, teamwork, joy, and excitement. Holding space and being a witness to these many feelings are the magic I use in sports medicine and in coaching.
In coaching, we strategize your individual game play. We analyze what’s working, what’s not working, what you want, and what you need, because ultimately, you deserve to feel like your life is a big win.
“I was all in with coaching when we set a goal that was a lifelong dream of mine and her accountability got me so excited to finally achieve this goal. Catherine will push you to strive for your best self, celebrate your successes, and be your biggest fan.”

The Good Girl
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be the “good girl.” The one that obeyed the rules, did not get in trouble, made the most upright and moral decisions, and stayed pleasing to others. I deeply believed this was the recipe for success, a lasting marriage and happy relationships, and ultimately hardship-avoidance. But then I got into a tricky situation with work many years ago. I did everything right according to all the national practice standards, my education, and experience, and still things went sideways. A few years after that, I found myself in an impossible marriage. A marriage I worked my soul to the bone and exhausted all external support measures for. Every moment of every day, for years, hoping for headway towards safety, restoration, and healing with nothing but heartache, a weary and fully-spent spirit, and a lot of tough decisions to make in the end.
My belief that being perfect and making all the “right” decisions would call in the life I wanted came completely unraveled. It had to. And I’m so glad it did. With hard work and a lot of support, a freer me came back to life. A more whole-hearted me. A safer-in-my-skin me. A version of me that will trust my instincts at all costs. The me I was before the world told me who it needed me to be.

As YOUR Coach
As your coach, I will…
See you. I will hear your journey, listen intently to what you are needing, and share themes I am picking up. When those quiet, often hidden, sometimes innocent parts of us get eyes on them it can feel like a rebirth. A renewal of who you always were.
Hold space for you. A big part of our sessions is engaging with what you feel. The feelers love this, the logical ones are more skeptical. That’s okay! Either way, we won’t judge it. We will notice whatever comes up and give it space to breathe. Then we decide what you want to do with it. We’re in this together.
Draw out your voice. Your silenced voice is ready to be ushered back to full volume. Somewhere along the way, a lot of us learned to override our inner and outer voice. Being in touch with our inner voice and communicating needs and wants out loud are both critical for the lasting impact of our work.
Encourage you. Our time together may give rise to frustration, grief, or indecision. You may feel stuck or unsure at certain points. That’s completely normal! I will be there with you each step of the way.
Celebrate you. I will be your #1 cheerleader for the small wins, the big achievements, the shifts in mindset, the adjustments in routine, and all the in-between. There is nothing like being celebrated by someone who has walked some miles with you.
